This policy is for protection of rural people of India against loss of life of their cattle which includes Milch Cows, Buffaloes, Calves / Heifers, Stud Bulls, Bullocks ( Castrated Bulls ) and Castrated Male Buffaloes whether indigenous, exotic or cross-bred.
Insurance coverage:
Sum Insured under the policy will be the Market Value of the animal. The policy compensates for death of cattle due to:
- Accident (Inclusive of fire, lightning, flood, inundation, storm, hurricane, earthquake, cyclone, tornado, tempest and famine)
- Surgical operations
- Diseases contracted or occurring during the period of the policy
The policy can be extended to cover Permanent Total Disability on payment of extra premium

This is a comprehensive insurance scheme applicable to poultry farms consisting layer birds, broiler birds and parent stock (Hatchery) which are exotic and cross-bred.
Insurance coverage:
The Policy shall provide indemnity against death of birds due to accident (including fire, lightning, flood, cyclone/ storm/ tempest/ earthquake, strike, riot, act of terrorism) or diseases contracted or occurring during the period of insurance subject to the exclusions. |

Claim process:
Contrary to other insurance Policies, the onus of information regarding intimating of claim lies on Insurer rather than the insured persons. Based on the actual rainfall data sourced from India Meteorological Department on a periodic basis for the monsoon months, Insurer would inform the Insured about the triggering of claim and the quantum thereof. After completion of minimum formalities the claim would be settled in a very short time.
